TWISTED SISTER Joined By EXTREME During ROCK OF AGES Performance; Video, Photos Available

September 14, 2008

Italian news blog Musica Metal has uploaded photos from the first edition of the Rock Of Ages festival, which was held yesterday (Saturday, September 13) in Milan, Italy.

Pictures of TWISTED SISTER, EXTREME, DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED and THE QUIREBOYS can be viewed at this location.

According to Musica Metal, during the final song of TWISTED SISTER's set, "I Wanna Rock", the band was joined onstage by co-headliners EXTREME, who "bowed at the feet of Dee Snider and helped out with the choruses."

Fan-filmed video footage of the "I Wanna Rock" performance can be viewed below (video shot and uploaded by Elia Alovisi, a.k.a. "NergalBehemoth").

All of the bands on the bill appreciated the enthusiastic reception of the Italian audience, with the two headliners issuing on-stage apologies for having neglected Italy on their previous tours: it had been 13 years since EXTREME last played in Italy, and this was only the fourth time in TWISTED SISTER's whole career that Italy had been included in the group's touring schedule.

Fan-filmed video footage of the "I Wanna Rock" performance can be viewed below (video shot and uploaded by Elia Alovisi, a.k.a. "NergalBehemoth").
